Are your candles hand-poured?
You know it, boo! All of our products are completely hand-made, so each item is uniquely yours! Please note that this can mean there are slight variations, even if you order multiple of the same item.
Are your candles eco-friendly?
Absolutely! It is extremely important to us at GHH that all of our items (packaging too!) are as eco-friendly, recyclable, and reusable as possible! That is why every candle is 100% natural soy, our wicks are cotton (no lead, ever), even our jars are made from recycled glass (which can mean mild green-tinting from time to time)! Additionally, soy with a cotton wick means the cleanest, safest burn for humans, pets, & the environment too!
What about your fragrance oils?
Our fragrance oils are mainly synthetic, safe for humans as well as pets (to smell, silly, never let your pet lick or consume a candle!), and expertly chosen and individually blended by us! We want your experience with Ghost Host Hollows candles to be unique & especially for you!
How long do your candles last?
Our 16oz candles burn for 70+ hours, and have a beautiful, bountiful throw! Always trim wick to ¼” before burning--& we highly recommend you only burn a candle for 1-2 hours each time, as this will elongate the life of the candle, as well as provide you the safest experience you can have.
Candle safety!
Always burn candles within sight, and keep out of reach of children and pets, as well as away from flammable objects.
Do NOT burn candles all the way down! Stop at ¼” from base, for safety--but DO feel free to clean out jar and reuse!
Always burn candles in a well ventilated area, and keep debris (even wick trimmings) out of wax, as it can alter the burn of the candle.
Why does my candle look frosted?
Since our candles are 100% pure soy, temperature changes will cause slight frosting--but not to worry--the frosting will not affect the candle’s scent or burn! This is a completely natural part of soy candles, and hey, it just means you have the best candle out there! *wink*
How does your shirt sizing work?
Excellent question! There should be a description per item as you purchase!
Can I place a special or bulk order?
Please do! We are happy to work with you to accommodate bulk (10 or more of a certain item) orders of existing items, or to customize something for a special event! Please visit our contact us page and feel free to send an email! *Please note that any special order will require varying additional time to prepare, to be determined upon request.
Oh no! My favorite item is no longer available! What do I do now?!
Not to worry! We value you & would be happy to help you out! If we have discontinued a candle or clothing item that you simply cannot live without, please reach out! We love your feedback, and it absolutely helps determine if items will return to the shop in the future! (& who knows--if we’re able to make it happen, we might be able to scrounge one up for you!)
Do you accept returns/exchanges?
All sales are exchange only. You have 30 days from purchase date to request an exchange on an item--please email via the Contact page with inquiries. Buyer is responsible for return shipping on all exchanged items back to the shop-- But don’t fret! Should an item arrive damaged (we try our best to package as safely as possible, but accidents happen!), we will be happy to work with you to replace or refund your item.
