As both the goddess of spring & new beginnings, as well as the queen of death and the underworld, this candle’s layers represent the duality of Persephone herself. The base layer is a rich nod to the pomegranate seeds that doomed her to winters below with a strong pomegranate cider tones, while the top represents the birth of spring with vivid bursts of floral and fruity apple, violet and citrus tones.
